Red Roof

Sale price150 KWD

Red Roof is a photographic work which is part of an ongoing project critically documenting the remains of the now semi-abandoned oil town, Ahmadi Town, Kuwait.

Ahmadi Town was built in the 1940s by the Kuwait Oil Company and the company architects Wilson, Mason and Partners to house predominantly British expatriates at the time.

The photograph acts as a document of colonial urbanism.
