Overview
The Bawa Incubator is a new series of first-time solo presentations hosted at the Bawa office. It provides a unique opportunity for invited artists to experiment with the office space, engage with audiences, and establish their presence in the art scene.
This series delves into the complex relationship between humanity, the earth, and the sky. It portrays human interaction with the land: upon arrival, the landscape undergoes a metamorphosis into urban sprawls, initiated by the carving of the earth, extraction of materials, and subsequent refinement. Rua's work touches upon the expansion of cities which often unfolds through thoughtless replication, devoid of a profound comprehension of our environment.
