Haya Zubaid Kuwaiti, b. 1996

Haya Zubaid is a Kuwaiti artist and writer, exploring the intersections of psychology, anthropology, and the natural world. Her work investigates healing through the creative process, group dynamics and material exploration in relation to wellbeing. Her work highlights the physicality of feeling, where textures and organic forms act as bridges between self-awareness and the natural world. Many pieces reflect relational experiences, whether with the self or others.

 

Haya’s  background includes certifications and research on therapeutic outcomes in art, and four years in architectural marketing. With a postgraduate degree in Art Therapy and Community Art from Metàfora (2024) and a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences (2020).
