Zarrin-Fatima Shamsi is an artist, printmaker, and art educator based in Kuwait. Her work reflects her deep connection to nature, often exploring organic forms to evoke personal emotions and memories. Known for her experimental approach, she continually pushes the boundaries of printmaking, seeking innovative techniques and alternative processes to expand her visual language. She holds a Master’s in Graphic Arts and a Bachelor’s in Painting from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India.
Over her career, she has exhibited in several group shows and participated in workshops in India and internationally. Zarrin’s achievements include awards such as the Bombay Art Society’s Best Painting (Student Category) in 2016, Manorama Young Printmaker Award (2020), and an Honorable Mention for Printmaking in the Inception Grant (2021).
