Rashed A. AlAraifi is an architect, designer, and visual artist based in Bahrain. Rashed's work focuses on visual storytelling that transcends painting, illustration, and object design. His work is a visual response rather than a final outcome, bridging process and narrative. Through his artistic practice, Rashed seeks to craft experiences that use created visual languages as a means to share fleeting stories of previous generations.
AlAraifi has participated in numerous exhibitions both locally and internationally ‘State of Mind’, Solo Exhibition, Bahrain Embassy, London, UK, (2012) and Visual Memoirs: Between figuration & abstraction, Solo Exhibition, Bahrain, (2022). He is also the co-founder of Shepherd Studio, an award-winning transdisciplinary design firm in Bahrain.
