Rua Alawadhi is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture from Kuwait University (2021). Her work explores world-building, drawing inspiration from Japanese and Italian art. Through various mediums, Rua creates imaginary realms depicting intricate structures and surreal forms.
In 2019, she participated in Looking at Al Sawaber, a group exhibition at the Contemporary Art Platform, reflecting on the Al Sawaber Complex before its demolition. Beyond art, Rua has contributed to the Kuwaiti architectural community, serving as creative director for T-square Magazine in 2021 and as an instructor at the 2023 THULUTH design workshop.
